A group of large reinsurance firms recently came together to design and build an effective trading hub for the exchange of accounting and settlement messages.

Swift, which builds messaging solutions for the banking sector, was selected to carry out the project.

The Rüschlikon Initiative is primarily focused on standards-based automation of the accounting and settlement phases of reinsurance process.

The geographical and member scope of the Rüschlikon Initiative is global.
